The Story
The story of Le Feu is built on true passion and many years of experience, which has led to the creation of an innovative product suited to today’s market. For generations, the Lauritsen family has worked with fireplaces and wood-burning stoves, making the fireplace the heart and gathering point of Danish homes.
As the third generation, Søren Lauritsen has naturally been part of this “warm universe,” where he learned the craft as a young boy and discovered the world of fireplaces in his grandfather’s shop.
The Design
An evening in 2017 became decisive for Søren Lauritsen in the journey that led to Le Feu as we know it today. A burning desire to transform the traditional perception of fireplaces drove him. Søren had one vision: to create a beautiful, eco-friendly, and easily integrable fireplace that could become the center of any home.
The idea took shape, and late that same evening, the drawings for Le Feu were ready. From that moment, the concept was gradually developed into final production.
Through collaboration and development with specialists and engineers to ensure the highest quality in both materials and functionality, Le Feu became a reality and is today the best-selling bioethanol fireplace in Scandinavia.
