It is up to you to decide the height and placement. We recommend measuring from the ceiling down to the desired height. The fireplace itself is 35 cm high and must be combined with a rod of the desired length. We offer rods in 50 cm, 100 cm, 120 cm, and 140 cm, which can also be combined to achieve the desired height.
The Sky model, which is ceiling-suspended, can rotate 360 degrees so you can direct the heat as needed. The freestanding models are easy to move both indoors and outdoors. The wall-mounted model can rotate 90 degrees to both sides.
Our Sky model can be installed in most ceiling types. A plaster ceiling may require additional reinforcement. The dome itself weighs approximately 20 kg, plus the weight of the rod and burner. Consult a professional if in doubt. It can also be mounted on sloped ceilings using our “bracket for sloped ceilings”.
The Sky model can be extended as needed, but we recommend a maximum length of 4 meters for optimal stability and safety.
The Sky model can be installed outdoors, but we generally recommend bringing the fireplace inside when not in use. Since the Sky model is permanently mounted, it is best placed in a sheltered area, such as a covered terrace. Use the “Dome Cover” for protection when it is not in use.
